Universal Everything   Hello World: Code and Design

Hello World: Code and Design
Group show
Sydney, Australia

Universal Everything’s design for Marc Saporta’s Compositon No.1 is on display at Hello World: Code and Design curated by Aaron Seymour at UTS Gallery, Sydney.

When French novelist Mark Saporta first published his “book in a box” in the 1960s, the concept of non-linear narrative was so radical as to be relegated to the obscurities of avant-garde literature. In the digital age, it’s the storytelling technique de rigueur. Universal Everything re-imagined the ahead-of-its-time literary masterpiece for both print and tablet reading experiences using generative design and typography. Published in 2011 by Visual Editions.

Other artists on display: A2-Type, Alterfact, Aaron Koblin, Ben Fry, Ben Roberts, Defense Distributed, Golan Levin, Helen Yentus, Humanoid, Iris Van Herpen, Josh Roseberg, Kouhei Nakama, Leah Buechley, Reinoud van Laar, Shawn Sims, Shih Wei Chieh, Studio Pinaffo-Pluvinage, Takashi Kawashima, Tristan Perich, Wang & Söderström, Ying Gao, Zeitguised.
